Enhancing Deliveries with Our New Truck at Mendo Food Network

After a long two-year wait, our new refrigerated truck arrived! With a Food Bank Capacity grant through the California Department of Social Services, this addition to our fleet helps us better serve our community. We now have the ability to have a coastal and an inland route throughout Mendocino County. This makes high-quality, locally-grown food more accessible to our food distribution partners. Allowing us to source more food and distribute it more efficiently while eliminating unnecessary waste. We're excited to see how this addition will foster stronger community connections."

Improved Safety and Reliability

Safety is our top priority, and our new delivery truck is packed with features to ensure it. From advanced driver assistance systems to robust construction, this truck is built to handle the winding roads of Fort Bragg and beyond. This reliability means fewer delays and more dependable service for our customers.

$30,000 in 30 Days August Campaign!

This August, the Mendo Food Network is sharing on our website and social media daily posts to highlight how much further a donor's dollar goes in our hands.

With our bulk, wholesale purchasing power, a single dollar can stretch on average 8 times as far! Every day, we're posting an example, from fresh produce to canned goods, that highlights the difference between the retail price and our cost for our most frequently purchased food items.
